Sinofaith IP (Asia Pacific) recently held a lecture on “How to Cope with Harassment on Social Media” at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. The one-day lecture attracted the attendance of nearly 300 trademark owners. Dr. Michael Kwan, General Manager, Sinofaith IP (Asia Pacific), delivered a speech on “How to Cope with Harassment on Social Media” during the lecture.

Dr. Michael Kwan has nearly 20 years of experience in online/offline copyright and trademark protection. Concurrently, he serves as a part-time senior consultant in content copyrights at TVB. In January 2019, he was appointed by the Law Reform Commission of Hong Kong as a member of the Cyber Crime Sub-committee. He has a strong professional background, as well as rich industry resources and management experience.

There were no empty seats on the site that day. Dr. Kwan shared the principles and skills of coping with various harassing messages on social media, such as Facebook and Twitter. Attendees had a heated discussion after his speech, and he offered some professional and personalized guidance according to the questions raised by them.
